What’s the excuse…? There are no excuses.

Wow I know we’re always making up excuses but the past month I have seen a lot more! Maybe it’s time to revisit those goals you set at the start of the year, you know the ones that have probably found a dark place by now and haven’t been looked at since written.
These excuses, get rid of them now, you want something? You make it happen! If you want that dream body well stop looking at a picture of it and start looking at yourself in the mirror, start living in the moment into the reality of now. Those goals, those dreams they are no one else’s but your own if you start looking within there will be no more room for comparison but more room for action.

Step one for change:
– Look in that mirror and don’t you dare start voicing negatives, find what you love inside and out because from here we’re going to find happiness and a much better starting point for action.

2. Goal time: what does your ideal life look like for your health?
Here’s an example. For me I am exploring and finding natural beauty every day, I don’t just workout but I experience, I live, being active is who I am, it’s what I wake up to. My eating reflects how I treat my body with exercise.

How many times have you said oh I deserve that cake I just went for a run, does it make you feel better? Does it energize you? True sometimes its bloody great eating cake but don’t use exercise as an excuse to eat it, it is your choice to fuel your body with that cake.

I try new activities sharing these adventures with my friends helps keep me and them excited and motivated.
That’s a little overview, again it’s my own vision don’t compare, don’t copy make your own.

3. Living into your vision starts now! How today are you going to live this life? Find a routine that works for you.
Being Winter I too struggle to get out of my warm bed in the morning’s so to help me live the life I want to live I put my workout clothes at the end of my bed so when I do wake up the first thing I do is get dressed in them, I’ll even do it in bed sometimes. But I guarantee you every time once I’m dressed I’m up and I’m running, I’ll run up the beach and do a surf check, the salt air, the sound of the waves and feeling of sand between my toes reminds me of why I do this because this feeling this view, this moment well that’s how I want my day’s to begin. I feel better for the day, more productive, more positive and more energy. What gets you up in the morning? IMG_3047<

4. Acknowledgement and gratitude.
Take the time to notice how awesome you are! Take the time to notice the beautiful world we live in, be spontaneous. It is when we’re living in the moment that we can slow down and appreciate what we have, this creates a strong inner happiness.
Last week I was inside feeling tired after a big day, I got a message from a friend saying check out the moon, I remembered it was the night of the super moon when it would be at its closest to earth. I made myself get up and ran to the beach and wow it was worth it! I thought of my friend who was leaving for Europe in a few days and called her, I had to share this with her, she was like me sitting alone and inside, so I grabbed her we took a blanket down the beach and just watched. How many times do we get home after a busy day and sit and watch TV missing what extraordinary things could still be happening in real life we saw a the moon at its closest, we saw a shooting star and made a wish and I got to hang out with one of my best friends before she was to leave to go overseas in one of the most unforgettable nights and moments. Quit the excuses because getting up and living is always the best choice, watch the sunrise, feel the afternoon sun, see the ones you love, see the sunset, what happens after dark? The world keeps moving we keep growing, every day is a gift so open it up with excitement and enjoy it!

Catch ya later excuses I’m too busy having a freaking awesome time living my life.
